My name is Kristina Scully and I am special educator with over 10 years of teaching experience. Most of that time I spent teaching middle school, but I have also spent time teaching elementary school from 1st grade to 5th grade. I have a bachelor’s degree in elementary and special education from the University of Hartford and started teaching right after graduation. A few years later, I received my master’s degree in special education with a specialization in autism from the University of Saint Joseph. I chose coursework in a variety of topics: modifications/accommodations, counseling, reading instruction, assessments, and more. I have a particular interest and strength with behavior management, social skills, reading, autism, anxiety, executive functioning, and study skills. If you’re interested, feel free to read more about my expertise.
I am currently a full-time curriculum designer, creating educational resources for special educators, interventionists, behavior specialists, regular educators, parents, and other support professionals. I am inspired by being able to help support thousands of educators all around the world with the resources I create.
Besides education, I enjoy spending time with my husband and my dog, Nova, taking walks, practicing Bikram yoga, and cooking. While I have lived in Connecticut my entire life, I recently fell in love with San Diego, California and it will be my new favorite vacation getaway.
