I'd even argue that it's not just okay but necessary. I know I need it more for myself as well.

Here are some winter-themed self-regulation activities to try with kids and teens.
"Is it winter break yet?" This time of year, we A "Is it winter break yet?"

This time of year, we ALL need a break. Stuff is stressful. It's in the air. But that means kids feel it too.

It's 100% healthy to make extra time for now for breaks, downtime, and calming activities.

Taking even just 10 minutes a day to practice mindfulness with your learners can make a big difference.

Here's a really simple idea- you can opt to practice mindful breathing or mindful coloring for just the first 10 minutes of the morning. It's worth giving it a try in your classroom.
